How not to: Novelty wigs were cute back in the eighties but there are other ways to play dress-up.

Plan: To make these funny face masks, you will need:

  • lots of different coloured paper
  • sticky tape
  • scissors
  • long, wooden skewers
  • a pencil
  • and lots of imagination

Step one: Take your pencil and draw some appendages like a moustache, glasses, some lips, a pipe, antlers etc. Be as creative as you like – and don’t forget to utilize all the colors of paper.

Step two: Carefully cut out the appendages.

Step three: Use some sticky tape to fix them to the skewers, making sure that the paper covers the sharpest point of the sticks.

After: Place your funny face masks into a box until the guests arrive and choose the ones they want to wear. Or if you are making them together with the partygoers then start wearing them straight away!
