The Best Soap Bubbles Recipe

Kids of all ages love soap bubbles. But pouring half the tube’s content on the floor is a classic consequence of the overexcitement this activity brings.

Follow Everydayme’s non-toxic recipe to avoid the drama of running dry. Even better than the original product, plus you will never be short of soap bubbles again.

A very simple and non-toxic recipe with common ingredients. Use an egg cup to measure

  • water
  • sugar
  • cornflour
  • dishwashing liquid (a great one to try is Joy dishwashing liquid, which works well with sensitive skin)
  • a small jug
  • something to stir the mixture

Pour 2 measures of water into the jug and half a measure of sugar.

Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves, then add 1 measure of dishwashing liquid. Stop stirring, otherwise you’ll end up with a lot of bubbly foam.

The magic trick to making your bubbles more resistant? Cornflour. Add a teaspoon’s worth. And there you have it. No need to stir or let it rest, the mixture is ready and kids can start blowing!

The proof is in the shiny, big bubbles: this recipe will please adults and kids alike and bring a ton of fun this summer wherever the family may be. Have you tried making this recipe before? Let us know how it goes in the comments section!
